Rally is a curated group-buying marketplace operated by Echo AI LLC. Rally does not allow every product that may legally be sold. Rally restricts certain product categories for legal, regulatory, payment, safety, and marketplace-risk reasons, including age restrictions, shipping restrictions, fraud and chargeback risk, privacy and health-data risk, and Rally’s own marketplace standards.
In short: Rally supports ordinary low-risk consumer goods, including ordinary beauty and personal-care products, but does not currently support medicines, ingestible supplements or wellness products, medical devices, diagnostic products, or other health/therapeutic product categories.
This policy is incorporated into the Rally Merchant Agreement and forms part of the Terms of Service. Each merchant is responsible for ensuring that every product it offers is lawful and complies with this policy. Rally keeps the independent right to reject or remove a product even if the merchant believes it is lawful. Products do not become permitted merely because they are lawful in one jurisdiction if their sale, shipment, possession, or use would violate law in another applicable jurisdiction.
Stripe approval does not constitute Rally approval. A merchant or product accepted by Stripe, Rally’s payment processor, may still be prohibited on Rally, and Rally may suspend or remove a deal or merchant that Stripe later restricts.
1. Prohibited products
Merchants may not offer the following through Rally.
A. Illegal goods and services
- Any product or service that is illegal under applicable federal, state, local, or other law
- Products whose possession, sale, shipment, import, export, or distribution would violate applicable law
- Products intended to facilitate illegal activity
- Products prohibited by payment-network or Stripe rules where Rally has not expressly approved the category
B. Weapons
- Firearms and guns, ammunition, suppressors and silencers, and firearm components designed to enable or materially enhance weapon use
- Explosives, bombs, grenades, and weaponized explosives
- Switchblades, tactical or combat knives, swords, machetes marketed as weapons, and other knives designed or marketed primarily as weapons or for self-defense
- Stun guns, tasers, brass knuckles, and other weapons primarily designed or marketed to injure another person
- Weapon-making kits or instructions sold as products
Ordinary kitchen, culinary, and craft knives and ordinary household tools are not weapons under this policy unless they are designed or marketed primarily as weapons or for self-defense. Rally reviews these products before they can be published.
C. Alcohol
All alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, liquor, and alcoholic cocktails. Rally does not support alcohol sales.
D. Tobacco, nicotine, and vaping
Cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, nicotine products and pouches, vaping devices, e-cigarettes, vape liquid and e-juice, and accessories whose primary purpose is consuming these products.
E. Cannabis, THC, and CBD
Marijuana and cannabis, THC and CBD products, cannabis edibles and concentrates, psychoactive cannabinoid products, and products primarily intended for cannabis consumption or cultivation. Rally does not operate a cannabis marketplace, even where these products may be locally lawful.
F. Controlled substances and recreational drugs
Controlled substances, illegal and recreational drugs, synthetic or imitation controlled drugs, hallucinogenic products, drug paraphernalia primarily intended for illegal or recreational drug use, and products intended to manufacture or consume controlled substances.
G. Prescription drugs
All prescription medications and pharmaceutical products, online pharmacy products requiring a prescription, and prescription drug delivery.
H. Over-the-counter medicines
Over-the-counter medicinal products whose primary purpose is to diagnose, treat, mitigate, cure, or prevent illness or symptoms, including cold and flu medicine, cough medicine, pain relievers, allergy medicine, sleep medicine, laxatives, anti-diarrheal medicines, and fever reducers. This is Rally’s business choice even where these products are lawful.
I. Personal-care products regulated as over-the-counter drugs
For now, Rally takes a conservative approach and does not support:
- Sunscreens and other products with an SPF, including makeup and moisturizers with SPF
- Antiperspirants (deodorants that are not antiperspirants are supported)
- Medicated acne treatments, medicated anti-dandruff products, and other medicated skin care
- Hair-loss treatments
- Other cosmetic and over-the-counter drug crossover products, such as hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, fluoride toothpaste, and diaper-rash cream
Ordinary cosmetic alternatives without medicinal or drug claims may still be offered (see section 2).
J. Dietary supplements and ingestible wellness products
Vitamins, minerals, dietary and herbal supplements, nutraceuticals, protein supplements and powders marketed as dietary supplements, probiotics, sleep, weight-loss, immune-support, sexual-performance, hormone-related, sports-performance and energy supplements, nootropics, ingestible beauty supplements, and any gummies, capsules, tablets, powders, liquids, or other ingestible products marketed for health or wellness benefits.
K. Medical devices and diagnostic products
Medical devices, prescription devices, diagnostic products and test kits, products primarily marketed to diagnose, monitor, treat, mitigate, or prevent medical conditions, and products requiring professional medical oversight or authorization.
L. Hazardous products
Poisons, highly hazardous chemicals, radioactive materials, pesticides requiring specialized licensing, fireworks, explosives, and hazardous materials that cannot lawfully or safely be shipped through ordinary consumer delivery channels.
M. Adult sexual products and content
Pornography, sexually explicit media sold primarily for sexual gratification, sex toys and dolls, and explicit adult sexual products or services. Ordinary personal-care items are not adult products merely because they relate to the body.
N. Gambling and lotteries
Gambling products and services, lotteries, paid games of chance, betting and wagering, gambling credits, and anything where payment gives a chance to win money or prizes in a regulated gambling structure.
O. Financial and stored-value products
Gift cards, stored-value cards, cash equivalents, cryptocurrency and crypto tokens, securities, investment products, financial instruments, and money-transfer products.
P. Counterfeit, stolen, infringing, and recalled goods
Counterfeit products and fake branded merchandise, stolen goods, products known to infringe intellectual-property rights, unauthorized replicas presented as genuine, recalled products, and products a governmental safety authority prohibits from sale.
Q. Sanctions and restricted parties
Transactions involving products, sellers, buyers, jurisdictions, or parties where the transaction would violate U.S. sanctions or export-control laws or Stripe restrictions.
R. Hate, violence, and dangerous content
Products whose primary purpose is to promote or glorify unlawful violence, promote hatred against protected groups, facilitate serious physical harm, or encourage clearly unlawful dangerous conduct.
2. Health, medical, and therapeutic products
Rally does not currently support medicines, dietary supplements, ingestible wellness products, medical devices, diagnostic products, or other products primarily marketed for medical or therapeutic purposes. This restriction applies even where such products may otherwise be lawfully sold. Rally has adopted this policy to limit regulatory, consumer-safety, health-claim, payment, and marketplace risk.
Rally may permit ordinary cosmetics, skincare, hair care, beauty tools, and personal-care products that are not marketed as medicines or therapeutic products and do not make prohibited medical or disease claims — for example makeup, fragrance, cleansers, moisturizers, cosmetic serums and masks, non-medicated shampoo and conditioner, deodorant that is not an antiperspirant, bath and body products, and beauty and grooming tools.
3. Product claims
Merchants must have competent and reliable evidence for every objective product claim. Deals, rally messages, and any promotion of a Rally deal (including by the merchant on its own website, advertising, or social media, and by its creator partners) must not claim that a product diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease or medical condition, or that it changes a bodily function for a medical purpose — for example that it treats eczema, psoriasis, acne as a medical condition, anxiety, depression, or insomnia; cures hair loss; changes hormones; lowers blood sugar or blood pressure; boosts immunity against disease; or causes medical weight loss.
Ordinary cosmetic claims, such as “moisturizes,” “cleanses,” “conditions hair,” or “gives skin a smoother appearance,” are allowed when they are lawful and not misleading. Rally reviews deals whose wording may be a medical or health claim before they can be published, and rally messages with such wording can’t be posted without review.
4. Review categories
Some products need Rally’s review before a deal can be published: general home goods and merchandise, toothpaste and oral care, packaged food and non-alcoholic drinks, and products that don’t fit a listed category. If a product’s classification is uncertain, Rally declines it unless Rally affirmatively approves it.
5. Enforcement
Rally may reject, suspend, or remove any deal or merchant that violates this policy, without having to establish that a product is unlawful. A suspended deal can’t be used to open new rallies, and its share pages stop accepting new buyers until Rally reinstates it after the merchant takes corrective action. When Rally removes a deal, its open rallies are cancelled and buyers’ card holds are released. Rally notifies the merchant of the action and the reason. A merchant who believes Rally classified a product incorrectly may contact hello@echoaisms.com.
6. Changes
Rally may update this policy as laws, payment-network requirements, product risks, or Rally’s supported categories change. Rally will not add health, supplement, or medical categories without a separate legal and privacy review.
7. Reporting a product
If you believe a rally offers a prohibited product or makes a prohibited claim, contact hello@echoaisms.com.
